Today Colombians spoke out through democracy, to open the doors to opportunities and hope for Colombia. And the Colombian Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies, ANATO, together with its Travel Agencies, show their support and wish the new President of the Republic, Gustavo Petro, the best of success in the next four years, to boost the economy. and tourism in the country.
“We will surround the National Government and make ourselves available to work, in an articulated manner, for the future of tourism actors, highlight their work and attract more foreign visitors to visit our destinations, since ANATO, with 74 years of representation of the sector and its Associates, has always promoted the competitiveness of the business community to make Colombia a destination of international stature, and the importance of a fair playing field for job creation and company consolidation”, highlighted Paula Cortés Calle, president union executive.
And he added, "to Mrs. Francia Márquez, Vice President of the Republic elect, we also want to put ourselves at your disposal to be able to add actions to strengthen your interest in community and sustainable tourism, where we see great potential in our country for the generation of better conditions for everyone.
Bearing in mind that companies are a fundamental axis of the economy, and tourism a pillar of the new president's campaign, ANATO hopes that a better Colombia will continue to be promoted and a work plan consistent with the needs and problems of the tourism industry.
