The tourist destinations of Quintana Roo remain at the forefront capturing events, incentives, congresses and conventions

The Mexican Caribbean participates from June 21 to 23 in the "World Education Congress" (WEC, for its acronym in English), the most important event in the meetings industry organized by the largest international association formed by meeting professionals " MPI” (Meeting Professionals International), and which takes place in San Francisco, California.
The Congress brings together meeting industry professionals, event buyers from around the world and destinations that seek to stay ahead of the industry's issues and trends.

“Being present at this event allows us to have first-hand updates in terms of holding events, since due to the latest changes in the world, adjustments have had to be made and more technology tools integrated; This is why the Mexican Caribbean as an example of a worldwide destination, not only in tourist arrivals but also in holding events that include meetings, incentive trips, weddings and congresses, must have the instruments and knowledge that this type of events it offers through its exhibitors and conferences”, commented Darío Flota Ocampo, general director of the Tourism Promotion Council of Quinana Roo.
Also participating in this event are tourism promotion offices from: Puerto Rico, Los Angeles, Ft. Lauderdale, Canada, Arlington, Montreal, Toronto, Galveston, Tampa Bay, Houston, Sacramento, Colorado, Las Vegas, Louisville, Miami, New Orleans, Monterey (California), Colorado Springs and Los Cabos.
It is worth mentioning that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the MPI association, which has become the largest and most influential in the world dedicated to meetings and events professionals, and which currently chairs the MPI Mexican Caribbean Chapter, Rocío González Jonguitud, who is also in charge of the Meetings Tourism segment of the CPTQ.
