For the fourth consecutive year the property has been recognized for sustainable practices


Red Frog Beach Resort is the only hotel in Panama to hold the world's leading Green Globe certification for sustainable travel and tourism practices.

They have demonstrated, during the four years they have been certified, that they have remained the leading resort in sustainability in Panama. 

More than 380 Green Globe auditors oversee an extensive list of more than 340 criteria in the categories: sustainable management, social and economic elements, cultural heritage and environmental practice.

Red Frog Beach Resort is a greener luxury resort community, 30 miles from the Caribbean side of Costa Rica, located in Bastimentos, one of the Bocas del Toro islands in Panama and a five-minute boat ride from the Resort, the historic town of Old Bank draws attention with interconnecting trails (no roads or cars) with local people still using the local "guari-guari" dialect.

Red Frog has 52 units and among them they offer: Luxury Villas from 2 to 7 rooms, each with its respective private pool, Condominiums with 1 or two rooms and the Jungle Lodges that are 5, with their private pool but shared between them. .

On the island they have the La Rosa Beach Club restaurant that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, a wide variety of drinks and a menu that offers throughout the day, they also have El Susurro Spa that is fused with the forest, they also have the only zipline in all of Bocas del Toro with 13 platforms, 7 lines, a hanging ladder, tarzan swing and a vertical rappel.

Red Frog Beach Island Resort is committed to conservation, including the preservation of 80% of the island's property, over 1,000 acres. They use eco-design principles and employ an energy efficiency system to conserve energy.

The resort's solar installation provides approximately 20% of the resort's power needs, reducing its diesel fuel by 12,200 gallons per year
