Grupo Piñero appoints new COO Mobility, Incoming & Leisure
The company materializes its commitment to promoting electric and sustainable mobility, as well as continuing to evolve the offer of its incoming services and marketing of leisure activities in destination
Grupo Piñero, a Spanish tourism company with almost 50 years of history, has appointed Ricardo Moreno as Chief Operating Officer (COO) Mobility, Incoming & Leisure. He will lead both the receptive Coming2-brand integrated in the Travel division – as well as all the companies that make up the Group's Services division (Solbus, Priego, Embat Turiscar, Emos and Scubaquatic). Thus, through this new area, the company materializes its commitment to promoting electric and sustainable mobility, as well as continuing to evolve the offer of its incoming services and the marketing of leisure activities at the destination.
With extensive experience in the tourism sector, Ricardo Moreno has developed a large part of his professional career in leading companies such as Sol Meliá, Travelider, Mundicolor or Pullmantur, among others. In 2018 he became part of Grupo Piñero as general director of Coming2, a Group company that offers incoming services at destination and, in 2020, he also assumed the general management of Turiscar, a brand of the company dedicated to developing comprehensive solutions for transport electricity in destination, from which arises, together with the Swedish company Inzile, the joint venture Emos Caribbean, which will focus its activity on the commercialization of 100% electric mobility solutions in the hotel and tourism sector. Likewise, recently the company has also entrusted Moreno with the management of the Services division.
Now, as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) Mobility, Incoming & Leisure of Grupo Piñero, Moreno will be a member of the Executive Committee, a consultative and advisory body for the CEO in the Group's strategic decisions.
