The company has given more than 180,000 hours of training actions, exceeding 102,000 attendees throughout 2021

Grupo Piñero, a Spanish tourism company with almost 50 years of history, has invested more than €950,000 in the 2021 Training Plan to promote the professional growth of its employees. Through this program, the company has given more than 180,000 hours of training actions adapted to the specific needs of each position. Thanks to this, more than 102,000 people have benefited from the different activities carried out by the company throughout 2021.

This program, framed in the company's Strategic Sustainability Plan 2022-2030, specifically in the People strategic axis, aims to improve people's quality of life by paying special attention to safety, health and well-being, in addition to promote professional growth within the Group. In this way, the company carries out socially responsible management that will allow it to create long-term value and continue to be a benchmark company in the tourism market.

Thus, in 2021, various training courses to raise awareness on sustainability were given, along with environmental awareness activities to integrate environmental, social and ethical criteria into business management, having as a framework the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda. .

Promoting talent
Grupo Piñero has launched the Talent Management Program to give employees greater prominence in their professional development. Through this initiative, different processes are carried out to find out the expectations, needs and challenges in terms of development, while establishing objectives and an action plan to carry them out with a multidisciplinary approach. In this sense, it should be noted that, in 2021, 7.35% of professionals have grown within the company and, specifically, 31% of promotions have corresponded to women.

In addition to developing internal talent, Grupo Piñero is also carrying out different initiatives to attract professionals. To this end, the company is working on the Employee Experience Program so that both the company's professionals and new hires have a professional and personal growth plan in line with the Group's culture and values.
