The celebration will take place on Saturdays and Sundays from September 10 to October 30

An enchanted world full of family fun is the place to celebrate Halloween at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay with the newest event, Spooktacular. In this fantastical world created by Kandy, a friendly witch-in-training, a costume parade, story time and traditional “trick or treat” are some of the activities guests will find in this immersive Halloween experience.

The Busch Gardens Spooktacular occurs Saturdays and Sundays from 12-4 pm on the Festival Walkway and is included in your admission ticket. Some of the activities for families in this new Halloween event, including other not-so-scary surprises, are:

  • Kandy's World: Visitors will be the first to hear the stories of this witch-in-training, including how much she loves candy and how she accidentally turned her friends into toads.
  • Storytime with Kandy: Located next to Kandy's picture-perfect pumpkin patch and bubbling cauldron, guests will be immersed in the popular story " Room on the Broom ," where everyone has a place and everyone belongs.
  • Spooktacular Costume Parade: On this runway, all the little ones are supermodels! The show comes to life with this colorful costume parade.
  • Prank or Treat: The new Busch Gardens Spooktacular is the place to go for a traditional prank or treat. All visitors can bring their own bag and join in the sweet fun. For the participants of this activity, reusable bags will be available for purchase.
