This year, the meeting brings together leading authorities, Latin American executives and aviation experts to discuss the sustainable future of airports. The speakers will share experiences on how actions are being implemented to mitigate environmental impacts with the aim of reducing direct carbon emissions from airports to zero in 2050, according to the sectoral pact assumed by the industry, in line with the Paris Agreement and the recommendations of scientists from the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

Other issues will be addressed in the context of sustainable development, such as the recovery of the industry after the most critical moment of the Covid-19 pandemic, the incorporation of new technologies, the development of airport businesses and innovations in advanced air mobility, in addition to various topics related to diversity, inclusion and the labor market in the sector.
