Owners increasingly decide to travel accompanied by their pets

The decision to travel with domestic dogs and cats generates a new demand in the tourism industry for pet-friendly accommodation that not only admits animals but is prepared to meet the needs of the non-human family member. In the Caribbean, hotels have understood this need and several lodging sites offer friendly services for humans and pets.

In Mexico, the most popular pet-friendly hotels are the Hard Rock Hotels An All-Inclusive Experience. They offer an exclusive and original experience to receive travelers who arrive accompanied by their dogs or cats.

At Hard Rock Hotel Cancun, a Rock Suite with an ocean view or a Deluxe King Lagoon View are some of the options available to choose from to combine extraordinary landscapes and the same for your pet.

At Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos, Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta and Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya there are also options to receive them. For its part, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana includes family suites so that everyone can be with the most pampering members of the family.

The chain offers amenities for animals and establishes a line of coexistence rules that allow up to two pets per room. In addition, it requires a certificate of good health for the animals and special transport bags. Other hotels like the Four Season Hotel Mexico City even offer spa experiences for dogs with bathing, grooming and whirlpool services.

The trend today is that around 12 percent of Mexican hotels are Pet-Friendly. Considering that the percentage of pets per household has grown in recent years, and especially after the COVID pandemic, the need for accessible places that accept them will not only become established but will grow, pointing to new Destinations.
