Ecuador present at the IFTM Top Resa fair in France
The South American country strengthens national tourism promotion with its participation in Paris, which began this Tuesday
France is one of the prioritized markets for the country, so this event is an opportunity to show Ecuador as a preferred and ideal tourist destination to provide visitors with new and unique experiences.
At the fair, Ecuador has a stand that has a work area for co-exhibitors, including Quito with its tourism company, as well as representatives of the private tourism sector who will hold meetings with agents from the French tourism sector to develop commercial actions.
The Ecuadorian Minister of Tourism, Niels Olsen, inaugurated this space where it is also planned to present the destination with the main local media and generate a business network, which will include airlines to promote air connectivity. "The last time we participated in Top Resa was in 2013 and today we return to this event in France to conquer this tourist market," he said, mentioning that more than a dozen national operators will be part of the business conference that aims to attract more visits from French travelers to Ecuador.
During the fair, Ecuadorian artistic dance and gastronomy activities will be carried out with typical national products such as chocolate, bolón de verde, llapingachos with hornado, shrimp ceviche and quinoa soup.
The IFTM Top Resa fair is one of the most important B2B events for the industry and this year it will be attended by around 20,000 visitors and 500 exhibitors.
The National Government promotes actions to strengthen trade relations that allow the country's economic and tourist reactivation to continue.
