Buenos Aires prepares to host the ALTA Forum 2022
The Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association announced the date of its annual ALTA AGM & AIRLINE LEADERS forum, which will take place in October in the Argentine city
The new edition of the most important event of the aviation industry in Latin America and the Caribbean will be held from October 16 to 18 and will be attended by executive directors of airlines, airports and suppliers, government representatives, the media and high-level speakers. who will meet to discuss how to address the current challenges of the industry and how to prepare for the future of air transport.
ALTA's Airline Leaders Forum will feature specialized panels, interviews and workshops. There will also be spaces dedicated to socialization and networking, to enable the formation of business links and sociability.
Speakers will include representatives from IATA, Sky Airlines, Flybondi, American Airlines, Globalx, leaders of the World Economic Forum, and multiple firms.
Some of the panels will have as main topics innovation, prospects for economic growth, competitiveness, sustainability and present and future challenges of the industry. In addition, there will be a talk dedicated to Blockchain technology and how it can be introduced in the future of ticket purchases. In this sense, it should be noted that Flybondi recently announced a new way of selling tickets, with NFT technology.
During the event there will also be an exhibition area for companies.
