The second edition of the Night of Tourism arrives at the City of Buenos Aires
The event will have guided thematic circuits, artistic shows, free catamaran rides, free access to the Tourist Bus and benefits in gastronomic venues
On Saturday, October 8, the City of Buenos Aires will carry out the second edition of La Noche del Turismo. The event's objective is that residents and tourists can enjoy a night with the main attractions offered by the City of Buenos Aires.
The proposal includes activities from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., such as themed guided circuits, musical shows, a varied gastronomic offer with special menus and benefits, and the opening of emblematic buildings in different parts of the City.
During the Night of Tourism, as in the first edition, there will be open-door activities where the visitor will have the opportunity to discover the secrets of different emblematic buildings in Buenos Aires that are not usually freely accessible, along with private entertainment. in hotels, palaces and emblematic buildings. In addition, the residents and tourists who participate, will be able to take rides on the City's tourist buses without cost or prior registration, and enjoy free catamaran trips, dramatized circuits, guided tours, cumbia and freestyle musical shows and a dance show. digital art, as well as other special activities. There will also be benefits in gastronomy and tango shows that can be located on the map of La Noche del Turismo.
Likewise, in this second edition, the Tourism Entity of the City of Buenos Aires invites the visitor to enjoy 4 new free guided circuits for which prior registration is not required: the photographic circuit of Puerto Madero, the theatrical circuit on mysterious stories of emblematic families in Recoleta and Retiro, the Destinos de Argentina circuit with artists from all over the country in Corrientes street and the emerging art circuit of Colegiales.
The photographic circuit will be a walk through the most photographable points of Puerto Madero where the visitor will find tour guides, professional photographers and instagramers who will accompany the public to places where great images of Puerto Madero can be obtained, one of the most outstanding neighborhoods from the city.
In Retiro and Recoleta, the “Mysterious Stories” circuit will take place, a walk with tour guides to discover the secret stories, myths and legends that hide the most emblematic mansions of the late nineteenth century, since the curse of the Palacio Fernández Anchorena, the ghosts of the Jockey Club, the crybaby of the Palacio Ortíz Basualdo, the legend of love and revenge of the Palacio Anchorena, until the chilling ending offered by the Palacio Paz.

How was the first edition of La Noche del Turismo?
In the first edition of La Noche del Turismo, 57% of the people who attended the different circuits were residents of the City, but there was also a large federal participation in which tourists from Greater Buenos Aires stood out (20%) and from the Rest of the Province of Buenos Aires (4%), followed by Tucumanos, Santa Fe and Cordoba. It should also be noted that the international participation was 10% and that the main countries of origin were Venezuela, Brazil, Chile and Colombia.
The main focuses of interest of this first edition were the guided circuits, the visits to the museums and the musical shows that took place in different parts of the City.
