The chain announces the opening of the Candlewood Suites Guadalajara Galerias and avid Hotel Guadalajara Avenida Vallarta Poniente

IHG® Hotels & Resorts, one of the world's leading hotel companies, announces the arrival of two new properties to its portfolio in Guadalajara, aimed at different market segments and offering carefully designed experiences for each of them.

The first, Candlewood Suites Guadalajara Galerías, located on Avenida Manuel J. Clouthier in the western area and near Plaza Galerías, is part of the Plaza Grüncom Clouthier mixed-use development; It has 118 fully equipped suites, gym, laundry, terrace with swimming pool and furnished with everything necessary for the relaxation and delight of guests. All suites offer a kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator, microwave oven, electric grill, dishwasher, sink, kitchen and cleaning utensils, coffee maker, reclining chair and work table, desk with lamp, 55" smart TV, freshness curtains and black out, telephone and closet with safe.

This brand is part of IHG's suite collection, geared toward extended-stay guests, one of the fastest-growing segments within the industry and one that has performed best in recent years. Candlewood Suites offers a welcoming hotel experience, where spaces and amenities create a sense of familiarity for guests while traveling for long periods, thanks to its reliable services and apartment-style amenities, making it easy for them to maintain their personal routines and settle in easily.

Candlewood Suites Guadalajara Galerias is owned by Roomie Hotel Ownership and operated by Operadora Internacional Monbyhotels, while IHG Hotels & Resorts participates as the brand's franchisor.

The second property, avid Hotel Guadalajara Avenida Vallarta Poniente, is an IHG brand also debuting in the city. This is one of IHG's youngest and most dynamic lodging lines. Disruptive in its market segment, it has gained momentum thanks to its distinctive brand promise: to offer the essentials done exceptionally well, at a fair price. Its attributes and differentiators give it a unique personality, which has allowed it to grow rapidly in North America, including Mexico, where it has 2 more properties already open in Tijuana and Fresnillo, and more than ten in development for the next few years.

avid Hotel Guadalajara is owned by Grupo Ferran and is located within Plaza Epicentra, a commercial complex on Av. Vallarta and Periferico Norte, close to several industrial parks in the western part of the metropolitan area and which offers services such as exchange offices, clothing and convenience stores, cafes, deli and restaurants. The new avid Hotel is also the closest hotel to Akron Stadium and from it you can reach the town of Tequila in 45 minutes.

This new property has 124 rooms, a gym, spaces for breakfast, relaxation and co-working, a convenience market and underground parking. Half of its rooms have a view of the marvelous Bosque de la Primavera, one of the lungs of the city.

The hotel offers travelers just what they need: its rooms are fresh, comfortable and modern, designed for a restful night's sleep. All are equipped with the IHG Studio, allowing guests to project their entertainment directly from smartphones and personal devices onto the 55-inch televisions. Plus, the IHG Connect service provides Wi-Fi with a seamless browsing experience.
