Hilton to Bring First Waldorf Astoria Property to Costa Rica
Located in the Cacique Costa Rica community, the hotel will be located on a peninsula with beautiful views of the ocean and the incredible landscapes of Guanacaste, all with an emphasis on sustainable luxury
Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today announced the signing of the first Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts-branded property in Costa Rica; the new Waldorf Astoria Guanacaste is currently under construction and is expected to open in 2025. Exceptionally located on a peninsula with unobstructed ocean views, the Waldorf Astoria Guanacaste will offer 190 rooms and 25 Waldorf Astoria-branded residences in tropical paradise of Guanacaste, known for its spectacular landscapes, lush forests and beautiful beaches. The property will focus on sustainable luxury with an emphasis on architecture that integrates with its surroundings, native flora and fauna, and experiences that connect guests with the natural environment. All vehicles used on the property will be electric.

With panoramic views of the ocean, the Waldorf Astoria Guanacaste will have 190 luxurious rooms and artistically designed suites, including a Presidential Suite, as well as 25 private residences managed by Hilton and with access to all the services of the complex. Waldorf Astoria Guanacaste amenities will include a relaxing holistic wellness center with a state-of-the-art fitness center, movement studio, outdoor yoga, and lap and thermal pools. Waldorf Astoria Guanacaste will be managed by Hilton and owned by Revolution, Cacique Investors LLC, and Garnier & Garnier, the project's Costa Rican developer. GFG Securities LLC obtained the equity and debt financing.
