The Seven Seas anchored this Tuesday in the port of Manta, Ecuador
The Seven Seas Mariner is the sixth ship to arrive in Manta and the arrival of three more is expected until the end of the year
The ship arrived on Tuesday in the port of Manta, bringing with it about 500 passengers and more than 400 crew members. This Bahamian-flagged vessel arrived on our shores from Punta Arena in Costa Rica and is the sixth cruise ship to arrive this season.
Upon getting off the boat, the travelers toured the city of Manta, as well as Montecristi, Bahía de Caráquez, Jaramijó and Portoviejo, for which eight tours were organized that allowed them to visit the tourist sites of these towns.
Benjamín Brooks, a cruise passenger from the United States, was in Montecristi and toured the Ciudad Alfaro Civic Center where he discovered part of the history of Ecuador, was able to learn more about the making of toquilla straw hats and was fascinated with this emblematic product of Ecuador.
Two more cruise ships are expected to arrive in the country in November: the Ms. Oosterdam and the Silver Whisper, which are expected to receive around two thousand cruise passengers, between passengers and crew, so that until that month we will have more than 4,200 travelers arriving in the country.
In December the Silver Moon ship would arrive, with which they would add a total of nine cruise ships to anchor in the port of Manabita so far in the 2022-2023 season.
The National Government continues its tireless work to support the reactivation of tourism and the arrival of cruise ships strengthens and promotes the country's connectivity, to continue making Ecuador one of the favorite destinations for world travelers.
