The city says goodbye to 2022 with an agenda full of festivals, art and music


Miami has always been one of the two most popular international destinations for Argentines, mainly in the months of sun and pleasant temperatures that are approaching. This year, in addition to its beautiful beaches and its two well-known shopping centers, there will be a calendar of activities full of festivals and great art and music events, at low cost or with free access, which can even be enjoyed from a distance thanks to the broadcasts. live that some activities contemplate. 

Officially launched in 2014, this year will be the eighth edition of the Art of Black Miami, a celebration that connects with the cultural and historical richness of the destination. Artists from all over the world promote a sense of community through art and fashion exhibitions, performances, artists' talks, films, immersive digital art experiences, pop-up events and walls; that invite us to reflect on diversity. 

"Over the last eight years, the Art of Black Miami program has not stopped expanding," says David Whitaker, president and CEO of GMCVB. "This program positions Greater Miami and Miami Beach as a leading and inspiring multicultural destination. This celebration of unique talent developed in our community is a platform that allows artists to showcase their skills to a large audience." 

Some of the activities that can be practiced in various points of the city are:

"Art of Black Miami honors the spirit of Miami Art Week, featuring extremely talented and diverse local artists," said Connie Kinnard, senior vice president of the GMCVB Department of Tourism and Multicultural Development. "This year, we are giving boas-vindas to visitors and residents to learn about the stories that make our community exceptionally beautiful."

GroundUP Music Festival | February 3 to 5 | Em Miami Beach Bandshell 

Now in its sixth edition, this show named by The New York Times as one of two "Top 10 Musical Moments of the Decade", encompasses a variety of musical styles and genres. It presents artists from Germany, Mexico, Africa, Portugal, Colombia and Switzerland, just to name a few, and attracts fans from more than 50 countries.
