“We are very excited about this initiative because it is the first time we have marketed ourselves in theaters, maximizing our impact with two of the most anticipated feature films of the year. In addition, Black Panther was partially filmed in Puerto Rico, and the images captured on the Island highlight that scenic beauty that only those who visit us and live Puerto Rican style can appreciate,” said Leah Chandler, Chief Marketing Officer of Discover Puerto Rico.

The ads last 30 seconds and, in addition to promoting Puerto Rican culture as an attraction for visitors, they highlight the local warmth at a time when much of the northern hemisphere, including the vast majority of US cities, is beginning to experience low winter temperatures.
