The Secretary of Tourism of the Government of Mexico has scheduled an intense agenda of activities for this tour

The Secretary of Tourism of Mexico, Miguel Torruco Marqués, began a work trip to Madrid to attend Fitur, the International Tourism Fair of Spain, one of the most important business meetings of this industry worldwide.

Accompanied by a small delegation, the head of the Ministry of Tourism has scheduled an intense schedule of activities during this week that will remain in the Spanish capital.

The agenda includes participation in round tables in academic institutions; meetings with businessmen, airline representatives and tour operators from Spain and other countries; and its participation in the XXIII Ibero-American Conference of Tourism Ministers and Entrepreneurs CIMET 2020.

In addition, it will head the Presentation of the State of Guerrero, which includes the Acapulco Film Show; He will meet with the Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization, Zurab Pololikashvili; and will attend the celebration of the 40th anniversary of Fitur under the presidency of the King of Spain.

An important part of the agenda are the various bilateral meetings that will be held with Ministers and Ministers of Tourism of several countries, such as Spain, Andorra, Cuba, Honduras, Jamaica and Argentina, among others.

He will also lead the official inauguration and ribbon cutting of the Mexico Pavilion at the fair, as well as the Mexican Caribbean and Guerrero state pavilions; and will witness the presentation of the book "Pre-Hispanic and Traditional Mexican Cuisine of the 121 Magical Towns"; the presentation of the “Camino San Junípero and Camino Tierra Adentro” of the state of Querétaro; and the LGBT Strategy of Mexico with the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association.

Secretary Torruco Marqués will also participate in the presentation of “The era of digitalization in the tourism sector: the success story of Mexico”; and will attend a meeting with twenty of the most important hoteliers, in addition to holding various interviews with Mexican and international media.
